Joining the MSU OC has been the best thing I did in college. It's a great place to meet some pretty cool, down to earth, laid back people.

You don't have you know a thing about the outdoors. There's always someone willing to show how to do anything. If you've got a lot of experience, come share it!

The OC eboard and members lead a ton and a wide variety of trips. It's a great way to try pretty much anything out. Plus, having a group always means having discounts for different places and activities.

Speaking of discounts, we have several local sponsors that generously offer OC members 10% off. They are Moosejaw, Raupp's, Running Fit, Eric's Cycle & Fitness, and Velocipede.

Also, as an OC member you are entitled to rent any of the Outing Club's gear. It's free to use, but you have to put down a refundable deposit by check. It's a fairly comprehensive list and we are always adding to it.

Of course, you'll have to sign-up, sign a waiver, and pay dues ($20/year or $15/semester) to become an official member and take part in our dynamic organization.
